The Anna agitation’s aftereffects have started jolting the Congress, with the knives being drawn out within the party. Some in the party suspect that the poor handling of Anna Hazare’s agitation was a deliberate attempt to either damage the image of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, or, it could be a deeper conspiracy to scuttle Rahul Gandhi’s chances of becoming the PM in 2014.
