Sardar of statues

The 182-metre statue is to be built on the Sadhu-Bet Island, approximately 3.5km south of Sardar Sarovar Dam. The memorial site, with a number of edutainment features, lies between Satpura and Vindhyachal Ranges. The Statue of Unity will be a naturalistic and historically accurate representation of the Sardar in a walking pose, and sporting his sartorial style.
