Maya brother's 26 firms minted crores, says BJP

The BJP has alleged that UP Chief Minister Mayawati's brother and his wife had cornered thousands of crores of rupees through corrupt practices by opening at least 26 shell companies which were involved in dubious deals. Addressing the media on Monday, the BJP national secretary Kirit Somaiyya said that Mayawati's brother Anand Kumar and his wife Vichitra Lekha owned 26 companies which had made profits running into crores of rupees within a short span of time.
