The Congress’ discomfiture over Team Anna hitting the campaign trail in Hisar against it was on display on Saturday. Though the party put up a brave front saying that Team Anna campaign would not affect its poll prospects, it dispatched Maharashtra unit chief Manikrao Thakre to Ralegan-Siddhi to speak to Anna on the issue — a move which is being seen as an attempt at mending fences with the Gandhian, especially in view of the impending elections in key States like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, among others.
