Nothing adventurous

It would be fair to say that there was nothing extraordinarily exciting about the Union Budget for 2011-12 presented by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Monday. It would be equally incorrect to dub it as a ‘bad’ Budget as has been done by many politicians in the Opposition who have instinctively reacted along predictable lines instead of taking a considered view.
