Can India carry out US-like operation?

While most experts felt that India lacks the will to take any independent decision to go for ‘hot pursuit” in PoK, IAF chief PV Naik asserted that the country has the capabilities to carry out surgical strikes. But he refused to elaborate when asked if India had the wherewithal to carry out a US-like operation. While the decision to carry out a surgical strike has to be taken by the political leadership, the issue has come up time and again.
