Quotas for undeserving

Identity politics, related to quotas in Government jobs and educational institutions, is rapidly morphing into a creature that could permanently destroy the cohesiveness of Indian society. Scheduled Caste/Tribe quotas, OBC quotas, MBC quotas, Muslim quotas, poor-Forward Caste quotas, sub-castes quotas, gender quotas — this ever expanding list of beneficiaries of reservations will eventually reduce India to a nation of handicapped people, resting on the crutches of birth in a select group linked to political utility.
