Untimely talk for removal of AFSPA

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has once again revived the debate over removal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) from the state. Speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines of the ceremonial opening of offices in the winter capital of the state, he said: “There is no deadline, but it will go and the work is in progress on this count.”
