It is now clear to even the most blinkered mind that the Congress does not want the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the 2G Spectrum allocation to impartially probe the massive fraud that has been perpetrated in the reign of the current coalition Government led by the party. The reason for that is equally clear: Congress members know that the Government, the Prime Minister and the Union Minister for Finance at the time the scam took place will have a lot of explaining to do if the JPC is allowed a free hand to conduct the task which it is mandated to do.
