Share, don’t monopolise, water

The vagaries of monsoons this year, like in the past, have brought about immense miseries to millions of Indians, with floods wreaking havoc in many parts of the country. However, the authorities concerned continue to deal with such calamities in a routine manner, treating them as crises to be ‘managed’ and not as disasters to be ‘mitigated’.
