Congress runs for cover

It is not easy to sound smug when you are rattled to the bone. To that extent, ‘credit' must be given to the Congress which continues to rather comically put up a brave front despite having just lost its biggest ally — the Trinamool Congress and its leader Mamata Banerjee — and is left to lead a severely dented United Progressive Alliance Government at the Centre.
