Global affinity threatening desi cultural roots

A major bee that constantly buzzes in my metaphorical bonnet these days is to somehow spread the belief that arts is an intrinsic part of day-to-day life and not necessarily some esoteric activity of a rarified atmospheric realm. The need to spread this conviction becomes increasingly acute when I see the fate of the weaving techniques, traditional designs, indigenous clothes and lifestyle products all across civilisations.
