Fifty years after 1962, India dwells in denial
Nearly 70 per cent of Indians were not even born when the nation suffered its biggest humiliation in its 65 years of Independence. It is in this week, 50 years ago, Chinese troops overran and occupied positions on the Northeast frontier—the Dhola Post south of Thagla Ridge, and subsequently in Tawang, in Dibang, in Lohit and in Ladakh region.
