Shome panel shows the way. Now, scrap GAAR

The Parthasarathi Shome committee has hit the nail on the head in observing that the need of the hour is reasonable predictability in the tax laws of the country. It is this predictability that had become a victim when the General Anti-Avoidance Rules came into being with the Budget for the current fiscal year.
