Profligate study tours are a waste of taxpayer money

If there's one aspect of this government that has received criticism from almost every corner - including its own allies and supporters - it has been the arrogant attitude on display. An RTI reply has now revealed that, despite talk of belt-tightening and austerity measures as the economy slows down, MPs have been spending crores on 'study tours.' Some of the trips are particularly jarring.
