Those familiar with the Woodstock generation that emerged in the late-1960s may recall the familiar stereotype of the long-haired, dishevelled and stoned individual who blamed all the ills of society on “the System, man”. Their ridiculous facets aside, this was a gifted generation that produced some remarkably good music and uneven art that persist to this day.
