While a lot has been written about the legendary Captain Lakshmi Sehgal in the wake of her death, it will be difficult for today's generation to truly appreciate her contribution to the country's freedom movement. This is not just because her exploits were in a distant past but also because there is little in the history taught in our schools that does justice to the likes of Captain Lakshmi.
