PM as FM

Indira Gandhi took direct charge of the purse strings in 1970-71. Rajiv Gandhi did so between January-July, 1987. Even Manmohan Singh held forte from November 2008-January 2009, the only Prime Minister to have been a full-time FM (1991-96) before that.
