They can take a hike

The DMK threatened to upend the UPA over its decision to raise fuel prices. Party leader M. Karunanidhi reminded the government that the DMK had never hesitated to walk out of previous dispensations, be it the NDA or the V.P. Singh government. A few hours later, the party rolled back its ultimatum, saying it would stay in the alliance with bitter feelings, for the sake of the nation, and the upcoming presidential election.
