Celebration of the corrupt

The Government is working hard to create a tough law that will curb corruption and bribery in the private sector. According to a draft circulated to the States, the provisions of the proposed law will make it criminal for a person to offer an “undue advantage to any one to get the person to act in breach of his duties”. The law will make receiving even a gift a crime, if a court decides it was in return for undue favours.
