Despite electoral setback, CPI(M) refuses to learn

The question doing the rounds in West Bengal is: Will the CPI(M) come out of the cold storage? The one year of self-imposed virtual exile following the debacle in the May 2011 Assembly election was a carefully considered tactical retreat. It was also one year during which the party checked every sack in the cold storage to separate the rotten ones from the still fresh spuds.
