Economy in free fall

Just two years ago, the soaring growth of our economy and the industry had been taken for granted. Today, the dipping figures have become the norm and barely surprise either the Government or the industry. It is now taken for granted. This fatalism is even more dangerous than the crisis. Of course, every time the Congress-led UPA Government is confronted with fresh doses of dismaying news, it expresses its resolve to counter the downslide and blames everything from global recession to the Eurozone problem for the domestic troubles.
