All eyes were on the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) over the last two months. Stakeholders' high expectations have been reciprocated with a high reserve price for spectrum, and not with high standards and leaving a legacy. TRAI's recommendations not only show a lack of vision, but fail to put available spectrum to auction, storing or holding back of spectrum with the government.
