Don’t give in to terror

The abduction of Mr Alex Paul Menon, the District Collector of Sukma in Chhattis- garh, by Maoists last Saturday should not come as a surprise to anybody. Ever since the Red terrorists abducted Mr Vineel Krishna, the District Collector of Malkangiri in Odisha, early last year and released him after the State Government agreed to free senior Maoist leaders, guilty of multiple crimes, from jail, they have realised the potential of kidnapping as a means to further their blood-soaked cause.
