Prove Basu wrong

That India’s growth juggernaut is sputtering is a no-brainer. But chief economic advisor Kaushik Basu’s view that the world can forget about major reforms in India over the next 24 months is a sad commentary from someone within the ranks. Especially, from someone so bright — and capable of such elegant prose — who was a key member of the team that delivered a retrograde budget that’s spooked investors. And forced corporate India to clutch at straws that will help change the perception of an economy gripped by policy paralysis.
