Delhi overwhelmingly votes for BJP

The Congress may not accept the truth, but the fact is that the UPA Government’s battered image has begun affecting even municipal elections. The party’s dismal show in the poll held on April 15 to elect municipal corporators of Delhi is a fit example of how the Congress is losing ground at every level. Having bitten the dust, the party is seeking to explain away the defeat by saying that the debacle does not negatively reflect on the functioning of either its Delhi Government or the Union Government. which it leads.
