SIT upholds the truth

The Special Investigation Team, headed by Mr RK Raghavan, former Director of CBI, which was set up by the Supreme Court, has said in its report that “no offence has been established against any of the 58 persons listed in Zakia Jafri’s complaint” lodged with a local court in Ahmedabad, alleging that they were responsible for her husband’s death in the violence that followed the burning of coach S6 of Sabarmati Express by a Muslim mob in 2002. At least 58 Hindus were killed in that attack at Godhra.
