Tide rises against ‘Obamacare’

It has been touted as the single biggest achievement of President Barack Obama in his little over three years at the White House. But this past week, it looked as though the nation’s highest court would overturn it as an unconstitutional venture. Truly, the fate of ‘Obamacare’, as his landmark healthcare reform legislation has been nicknamed by his detractors, hangs in the balance. It’s all the more so because of some very pointed questions being raised by the five conservative justices of the nine-member bench of the US Supreme Court on the 2,700-page law.
