Indian ‘liberals’ seek mercy for ISI agent

The sentencing of Kashmiri separatist Ghulam Nabi Fai by a US District Court on Friday to two years in prison, to be followed by three years of ‘supervised release’, has not only sealed his credentials as an ISI agent but also served as an indictment of this country’s liberals who partnered him in propagating anti-India views. Fai was arrested in July last year by the FBI for using his non-profit, advocacy group, the Kashmiri American Council, to illegally lobby the US Administration in a bid to influence its policy on Jammu & Kashmir in favour of Pakistan.
