Time to crack down

For far too long, protesters, led by a group of activists with dubious agendas and demonstrating against the Kudankulam nuclear plant in Tamil Nadu, have been allowed to hold up a key development project of national importance. But with State’s Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s deciding on Monday to go ahead with the project, there is no reason any more to keep pandering to the protesters.
