Increasingly irrelevant

The two main national parties, the Congress and the BJP, are going to take a long time to digest the bitter medicine that has been administered to them by the electorate in the recent Assembly election held in five States. Apart from the fact that these election results have once again shown the declining popularity of national parties, they have also demonstrated that these parties are no big attraction for the youth and the women, especially in Uttar Pradesh.
