NCTC fracas is the fruit of Congress’s lust for power

The controversy over the National Counter-Terrorism Centre is evidence of how little the Congress leadership understands the importance of nurturing the ethos of federalism. Not imposing central measures is key to protecting the integrity of the country. Also, it does not help to bring forth debating points such as how there can’t be any compromise in fighting terror, as Ms Renuka Chowdhary appears to have done.
