Balochistan is burning

An extraordinary situation is rapidly developing in what is now notionally the Province of Balochistan in Pakistan. For quite some time now Balochis have been straining at the leash, wanting to break free of the suffocating control of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. In fact, the first revolt was witnessed in Balochistan even before East Pakistan declared independence and fought a bitter liberation war to emerge as Bangladesh.
