Bengal badlands

Bengal has been waiting for years for India’s second largest IT company Infosys to set up its first campus. The other big players—TCS, Wipro, Cognizant—are all here and, happily, in expansion mode. But even though Infosys managed to get past slowdown, land, infrastructure and other hurdles to bag 50 acres at Rajarhat from the Left Front government in its last days, it appears that it won’t be easy for the IT giant to get past the last post.
