Adventures of Herge

Tintin is the first hero that allowed many of us during our youth to dream of America, Egypt, Congo, India, China and the moon, to name a few. His adventures also introduced us to the basic knowledge of many cultural treasures of our planet. Being both a close collaborator and friend of Herge until his death in 1983, I realised that millions of readers from all parts of the world shared the same passion for Tintin whose adventures started in 1929 in the weekly supplement for kids of one of the main Belgian newspapers.
