To get NRIs’ funds, a lot has to be done

If the non-resident Indians and people of Indian origin who attended the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conclave in Jaipur go back wondering if their pleas about corruption and bureaucracy deterring them from investing in India will be dealt with the gravity these deserve, they can’t be blamed. Neither Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, nor finance minister Pranab Mukherjee or the minister for overseas Indian affairs, Vayalar Ravi, paid attention to these issues while exhorting NRIs and PIOs to invest in India.
