Ground levelled for Congress

The Election Commission’s order, issued on Saturday, that the statues of Ms Mayawati and her elephants (the national heritage animal also happens to be the BSP’s election symbol) at the recently inaugurated sprawling park in Noida should be covered would no doubt be hailed as a ‘correct decision’ by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s political foes, but it’s utterly absurd and meaningless.
