Decks cleared for PC trial

A Special CBI court on Saturday turned the tables on the Government by allowing Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy, instead of public prosecutor, to make arguments for making Union Home Minister P Chidambaram an accused in the 2G scam case. Bringing Chidambaram’s prosecution in the scam one step closer, the court accepted Swamy’s evidence against the Union Home Minister.
