SC ties Khurshid in Loop over Essar clean chit

The 2G spectrum scam continues to haunt Cabinet Ministers in the UPA Government with the latest being Law Minister Salman Khurshid, whose role has come under the scanner. The Supreme Court on Thursday asked the CBI to explain the alleged “interference” by Khurshid for providing an opinion aimed at weakening the case against Essar and Loop Telecom.
