Quarrelsome couple

The Congress and the Trinamool Congress seem to be chasing each other in circles. After Trinamool supremo and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took on the Congress at the Centre on issues such as foreign direct investment in retail, creation of Lokayuktas, and the Pension Bill, her government is now under attack from the Congress in West Bengal. Ms Banerjee's decision to rename Indira Bhavan in Kolkata after the poet Nazrul Islam has raised the hackles of her ally. Congress leaders have risen in protest, sensing in the move a slight against Indira Gandhi.
