Raja’s former aide Achary proves tough nut to crack

A Raja’s former aide and CBI’s key witness in the 2G scam case Aseervatham Achary on Tuesday reiterated Raja’s close relation with DMK MP B Kanimozhi. Deposing before the Special CBI court, Achary said that the former Telecom Minister was a frequent visitor to Kanimozhi’s residence in South Avenue. Achary said that Raja used to give him instructions ‘do not disturb’ whenever he visited Kanimozhi. Achary, who was being cross examined by Shahid Usman Balwa’s counsel RN Mittal, disclosed, “Raja himself told me that he was visiting the house of Kanimozhi and need not be disturbed.”
