Pre-meditated brutality

There cannot be two views on the brutal crackdown by Delhi Police on Baba Ramdev’s supporters who had gathered at Ramlila Maidan on June 4. It was premeditated and politically motivated. The purpose was to prevent Baba Ramdev from proceeding with his protest against corruption in high places and scare people into staying away from future gatherings of a similar nature. The horrific midnight misdeed had Congress stamped all over it; to question this fact would be tantamount to perverting the truth.
