An amuse-bouche for a yawny day

Autobiographies are written by important people. Or by people who think they are. For the latter to hold a tale, the book has to be witty, outlandish, malicious and record events that illuminate the reader. Senior journalist Vinod Mehta’s autobiography, Lucknow Boy, contains little of the above, except for some malice and a lot of name-dropping.
