Jailed Yeddyurappa still runs the BJP in Karnataka

Whether in jail or in hospital, former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa continues to be the state BJP boss and nobody can deny him a role in the forthcoming by-election to Bellary Rural assembly constituency. BJP state president KS Eshwarappa realised this the hard way on Monday morning when he called on Yeddyurappa at Parappana Agrahara jail to discuss the party’s by-poll preparations. Sriramulu’s threat to contest the by-election as an independent candidate has shaken the BJP camp.
