After DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi, it was the turn of Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Thursday to push a political candidate for the post of President. As already reported by HT, the desire for a political candidate by allies and those supporting from outside pushes finance minister Pranab Mukherjee ahead of vice-president Hamid Ansari in the race for the coveted post.
