Congress wants Rahul to address Goa House session, BJP says won’t allow

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi is likely to address the special session of the Goa Legislative Assembly on the midnight of December 19, when the coastal state would be completing 50 years of its liberation from Portugese rule. Jagmeet Singh Brar, Goa desk in-charge of the Congress, said here that the state government would request Assembly Speaker Pratapsingh Rane to summon a special session to commemorate the Golden Jubilee year of Goa’s liberation.
