Following the framing of charges against A Raja and Kanimozhi, the BJP has now trained its guns against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Home Minister P Chidambaram saying they cannot escape responsibility for the scam. BJP president Nitin Gadkari said that the Prime Minister cannot “escape” responsibility in the 2G spectrum scam for which only the alliance partners should not be blamed. He maintained that the Prime Minister has a lot of questions to answer, as holding only Raja responsible won’t do.
