No Daya for Maran

Former Telecom Minister Dayanidhi Maran was at the centre of the alleged criminal conspiracy for the controversial Aircel-Maxis deal and had himself instructed former Aircel boss C Sivasankaran to “work out with Maxis the issue of selling out stakes of Aircel.” Later on, Kalanithi Maran held a meeting with Sivasankaran on November 12, 2005 where the Minister’s brother instructed him to sell 100 per cent stake of Aircel to Maxis and told him that he would get a call from Dayanidhi the same day.
