In the dock over several scams including 2G spectrum which have been exposed through Right to Information Act (RTI), the Government has launched a video called ‘RTI Anthem’ but seems to have made a half-hearted attempt to publicise it. The initiative of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) to promote RTI has gone unnoticed seemingly because the attempt has been half-hearted. ‘RTI Anthem’, launched on DoPT’s website and on Doordarshan on Independence Day — just a day before anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare undertook his agitation on Jan Lokpal Bill — has not got a push from the Government so far.
