Centre prevaricates over Telangana

The Telangana imbroglio, into its 20th day, showed no signs of an early end on Sunday. Even as pro-Telangana activists, led by TRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao, brought their battle to the National Capital by staging a protest at Rajghat on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and demanded immediate statehood without any further consultations, the Government made it clear it was in no haste.
